OPINION To the Messenger: As someone who was born and raised in Chicago, I’d like to respond to the letter by “Name withheld by request” in the Jan. 28 Messenger. First: Ex-Gov. Blago has not been indicted for any crime much less convicted by a jury of his peers. He’s innocent until proven guilty. That’s America. Second: Ex-Gov. Blago’s “crime” was to shuttle some funding around and implement programs that the Illinois Legislature has previously voted down. For that he made some powerful enemies and they got even. That’s Illinois politics. Meetings Next Week Monday, Feb. 16 Tuesday, Feb. 17 Wednesday, Feb. 18 Thursday, Feb. 19 GUIDELINES FOR LETTER TO THE EDITOR Mail Letters to the Editor to P.O.
