SPMS Ladywave Basketball

The SPMS Ladywave basketball team hosted the Bluegrass Middle School Lady Bulldogs in their home opener. The Ladywaves didn’t take very long to prove that they were there to give their hometown fans a show. In the first period, the Ladywave offense took off like a rocket, scoring on their first three possessions. On the defensive side of the court, the Ladywaves denied the Lady Bulldogs even a chance to get a shot off. At the end of the first period, the Ladywaves had built up an 18 point lead over the Lady Bulldogs. By the end of the first half, the Ladywaves were able to keep their large lead off the scoring of Mattie Clanton and Annabelle Knoop.
