Greenwaves Fall in Season Opener

The Greenwaves’ basketball team kicked of the 2018/19 basketball season with a home opener against the Ohio County Eagles on November 27. The team looked a little sluggish at the start of the game as the Eagles scored the first two points on a layup, but once the Greenwaves began to find their rhythm they took over from the outside, going on an 8-point run. As the first period came to a close, both teams traded 3-point shots back and forth. But the Eagles were able to get to within two of the Greenwaves.
