Ladywave Soccer Ends Great Season

On November 28, the Meade County Ladywave soccer team met for the final time this season at the Meade County High School cafeteria for their annual end-of -season banquet. The Ladywaves had a remarkable season, ending with a record of 11-5-3. But some of their biggest accomplishments were their eight recorded shutouts, 96 total scored goals, while haring only allowing 30 goals against them. They finished the season at second place in the Region for goals scored, and first in least amount of goals given up. Head Coach Dan Shook remarked that his young ladies have improved in each part of the game, and that’s what makes him proud to see where the team is heading.
