MCHS Winter Ball Controversy: Solved
Every year, Meade County High School hosts the Winter Ball, a semi-formal dance students can attend to have a fun night together outside of school. The number of tickets sold for the dance is based on the capacity of the location. Many years ago, the dance was originally held in the Stuart Pepper Middle School commons area. As the popularity of the event grew, the dance had to be moved to the Farm Bureau building — which was the perfect size for its attendees. This year, however, there was a slight controversy with the number of tickets available for purchase to students.
