Meade County Museum and Messenger Article Turns Up Lost Weapon
In the October 4 and 11 editions of the Meade County Messenger, we published a two-part article from regular Messenger Contributor Gerry Fischer, President of the Meade County History and Archeological Preservation Society. In Fischer’s article, he spoke of the killing and subsequent legal trial surrounding the murder of Benedict Rhodes by James Ross. The publication of that article caught the attention of Greg Medley, who thought he might have a missing piece of the puzzle: the axe used in the Rhodes murder.
