ECTC Student Ambassadors Host “An Evening with Sensitive Santa”

Christmas lights and sights, sounds, and smells create excitement and anticipation for little ones awaiting a visit with Santa. But, for some kids, the stimulation is overwhelming, and an otherwise fun and memorable experience can be intimidating or frightening. For that reason, the ECTC student ambassadors hosted “An Evening with Sensitive Santa,” a specially trained Santa in a quiet, calm, low light environment. Student Ambassador Andrea Mattingly, who has an autistic son, came up with the idea, and her son enjoyed his visit with Santa.
