Doe Run Federal Credit Union Celebrates 40 Years

Directly across the street from Brandenburg City Hall sits a relatively small brick building. That building houses Doe Run Federal Credit Union, and has for the past 10 years.
Doe Run Federal Credit Union (DRFCU) is celebrating 40 years of operation in Meade County this year. They were granted their charter in May 1979, when they were located in the old Doe Run Chemical Plant (now Monument Chemical). They operated there for 30 years, serving only the employes of the plant and their families.
