Ladywave Softball Set to Kick-off Season

The onset of longer daylight hours and warmer weather can only mean that spring must be right around the corner. When spring hits Meade County, it means that Meade Olin Park once again comes alive with the sound of softballs hitting off the end of the Ladywave bats as they begin another run at a championship season. Last season, the Ladywave brought home the District 11 Championship in Penny Reece’s first year as head coach. So, the question is, can they repeat or go further in the regional tournament this season? According to Reece, yes, there is a very good chance that this year’s girls are ready.
