Wind Storm Brings Damages to Brandenburg

Wind gusts reached up to 67 miles per hour on March 14, resulting in the roof/awning of a building on Broadway, housing Pup Cuts (on the left) and apartments (on the right). A vehicle parked in front of the building received damage after the roof collapsed on top of it. This is the second time in less than a year that the building’s roof has suffered extreme damage. The city of Brandenburg and some outlying towns also dealt with power outages from LG&E as tree limbs and a touch-down tornado in Paducah, Ky., caused power line issues. Power outages continued through March 18 for some customers in surrounding areas.
