Notes from the Newsroom

Late winter and early spring are slow times for us here at the Meade County Messenger. Following the glut of Thanksgiving and Christmas events, people are a little tired (including we here at the paper) and there’s a drop in activities during the cold weather.
Then, as now, the rains set in over the Ohio Valley and the wet keeps outdoor activities to a minimum. But, we’re moving into the middle of April now, and the social calendar is gearing back up.
