Who will be the Meade County melon master?

I had never used a camera, other than my phone, until my first newspaper job. My editor gave me a few simple rules, one of which was: “Don’t take pictures of people eating. Nobody looks good while they’re eating.”
Of course, we all know that rules are made to be broken. I’m looking forward to breaking that rule at the watermelon-eating contest at this year’s Meade County Fair.
