Ladywaves robbed

The Meade County High School Ladywave basketball team played their first home game of 2020 on Jan. 7, in front of a sparse crowd against the Muhlenberg Lady Mustangs. Both teams started the game off slow, but by the midway point of the first period, the game quickly picked up speed with both offenses finding their rhythm. At the end of the first period Muhlenberg had went on a four-point route to tie the game at 17. Meade came out in the second period shutting down Muhlenberg’s top scorers, but finding their offensive ball movement working against their defense. Meade jumped out to an eight-point lead quickly, which they continued to carry all the way to the half, going into the locker room at halftime leading 38-30.
