MCHS Swim Seniors Honored

Each year the Meade County High School swim team hosts their senior night at the Gammon Natatorium on Fort Knox. This year senior night was held on Jan 21, and not only for Meade, but also for the Hardin County teams swimming in the event, and the Fort Knox Eagles team. For three MCHS Swimmers this would be their final time in a home event. Each of the three seniors, Clint Reardon, Logan Rister, and Anthony Slack have all had distinguished careers at MCHS and will leave a legacy for some time after graduation.
Clint Reardon Jr is the son of Clint Sr and Beth Reardon of Payneville Ky. Clint has been on the team for six years and his leadership both inside and outside of the pool has been admirable and humbling for the team. He is involved in his church youth group, Y-Club, Pep Club, NHS, FBLA and FCA. His favorite memory came during his sophomore year at regionals when he swam on the medley team where they placed second but were DQ’d. He also can’t forget the crazy bus rides, shower times, team trips, inside jokes, ice baths and all the amazing times spent with his second family. Clint plans on attending either Asbury or Murry State University to study education, and one day to become a teacher, swim coach, principal, and hopefully a superintendent.
