| Attendance peaks for 2014 fair season |

Fair board members saw a spike in attendance this year. The total numbers of visitors to the Meade County Fair was 36,000. According to Fair Board President David Pace, the increase is up by 500 people from 2013. The fair took place from July 19-26 at the Meade County Fairgrounds in Brandenburg, Ky.
