RALPH DAVID ‘PUNCH’ MITCHAM Ralph David “Punch” Mitcham, 85, Brandenburg, died Sept. 20, 2008, at his residence. He was born on April 9, 1923, to the late David and Hettie Mitcham. He was a former director of the First State Bank for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Raye Mitcham. Mr. Mitcham is survived by four children, Rebecca Richardson, Louisville, Tom (Carla) Mitcham, Michigan, David (Sue) Mitcham and Steve Mitcham, both of Brandenburg; seven grandchildren, Jolyn Vowels, Jason (Daniela) Richardson, Brad Mitcham, Rusty (Kim) Mitcham, Christy (Wim) Walker, Cole (Tricia) Mitcham and Ryan (Angie) Mitcham; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Tom White (Betty) Carden; and two sisters-in-law, Bobbi (Jerry) Tarter and Martha (Ronnie) Pile. Funeral services were held Sept. 25 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.
