RUBY DEVER PACK

Ruby Dever “Aunt Ruby” Pack, 98, died March 16, 2010, at Baptist Hospital East.

A native of Hodgenville, she was a charter member of Flora Heights Christian Church, past member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church, and presently a member of Southeast Christian Church. She also belonged to Bright Star #16. (OES). She worked at Klotz Confection Company, retired from Frito Lay Company and Kentuckiana Comfort Center, where she worked until December 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Pack; parents, Logan and Bessie Dever; two sisters, Thelma and Aline Dever; three nephews, Buster Cunningham, William Hall and Earl Pack; and a niece, Jean Barnes.

Mrs. Pack is survived by nieces and nephews, Georgia Riechers, Fremont, Calif., Bill Pack and Thelma Whelan, Brandenburg, Martha Bratton, New Salisbury, Ind., Raymond Hall, Wilma Atchley, Linda Wood, and Dorothy Larsen, all of Louisville. Of these, she was cared for by Linda Wood and Wilma Atchley; many great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous friends.

Funeral services were held March 19, at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Owen Funeral Home.
