JERRY L. RAY

Jerry L. Ray, 35, Palmyra, Ind., died March 19, 2010, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

He was a truck driver and a member of Cold Spring Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Bill Benock and Iona Elizabeth Ray.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Debra Clark Ray; three children, Colton Alexander, Shelby Kathryn and Ian Hunter Ray, all at home; two stepchildren, William Perry Dennison and Natasha Renee Day, Charleston, S.C.; his parents, Garnie and Dolores Ray, Battletown; two sisters, Sonia Marie Harshfield, Louisville, and Fredia Lynn Carby, Custer; his mother and father-in-law, Judith (Leroy) Terwillegar, Palmyra, Ind.; his sister and brothers-in-law, William (Donna) Payne, Corydon, Ind., and Ron (Janet) Clark, Charlestown, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. March 24, from Cold Spring Baptist Church in Battletown. Burial will be in Benock Family Cemetery.

Friends amd family may call at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, after 11 a.m. March 23.
