MARY B. LAWRENCE

Mary B. Lawrence, 92, Irvington, died April 5, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was born Aug. 18, 1917, to the late Charles and Maude Barrall Skidmore.

She was blessed with a wonderful healthy life. She was an amazing, strong and vibrant woman, who retired from the state of Kentucky in 1979 and went on to work at the Breckinridge Inn until 2005. She was active with the family horse farm and a member of the Bluegrass Miniature Horse Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spoiling her beloved Lab, Ruby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eris “Skip” Keltner.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her two children, Suzanne Robinson and Wallace Gene Keltner; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 8, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
