GERALD M. ‘BUTCH’ SPENCER

Gerald M. “Butch” Spencer, 45, Vine Grove, died April 14, 2010, at the Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was a member of New Brandenburg Baptist Church in Brandenburg, and had been employed with Hardin County Honda for over 24 years.

Mr. Spencer is survived by two children, Cory (Amber) Blair, Louisville, and Sami Jo Spencer, Eastview; his significant other, Melissa Yates, Brandenburg; his parents, Ernie and Lenora, Eastview; four sisters, Marilyn (Dwight) Spaulding, North Vernon, Ind., Gayle (Sam) Cochran, Radcliff, Donna (Kenneth) Hiser, Big Clifty, and Becky Stewart, Vine Grove; two nieces; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held April 18, at New Brandenburg Baptist Church, with Bro. Tony Yates officiating. Burial was in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
