CAROL ANN BERTRAND

Carol Ann Bertrand, 75, Brandenburg, died April 24, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a retired secretary from St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bertrand; a son, Michael Bertrand; and her parents, Ralph and Isabel Stringham.

Mrs. Bertrand is survived by six children, Robert (Gloria) Bertrand Jr., Brandenburg, Kathy (Bob) Vaughn, Poseyville, Ind., Edward (Kellie) Bertrand, Spartanburg, S.C., Steven (Janet) Bertrand, Thomas (Ami) Bertrand, Lexington, and Linda Myers, Brandenburg; a brother, Ron Stringham, New Jersey; three sisters, Nancy Bush, Marilyn DeStefano, and Lois Winner, all of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. April 29, from St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with the Rev. Philip Erickson officiating. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery.

Friends and family may call at Hager Funeral Home from noon until 8 p.m. April 28.
