MARGARET JOHNS JOHNSON

Margaret Johns Johnson, 83, Brandenburg, formerly of Orlando, Fla., died May 2, 2010. She was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of Condra Walter Johns and Alma Gordon Johns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Johnson; a brother, Walter “Bubby Johns; and five sisters, Louise Johns, Eloise Johns, Lois Bishop, Gerry Cantrell and Jean Levins.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Doug) Stone, Brandenburg, and Sheryl Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held May 5, at 6 p.m. from Brandenburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Janet Carden and the Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Friends may call at the church May 5, from 5-6 p.m. and from 6-7:30 p.m.

The family chose cremation. Burial will take place in Orlando, Fla., at a later date. Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Congregational Care Ministry of Brandenburg United Methodist Church.
