EUGENE ‘BOSS LEE’ MCGEHEE

Eugene “Boss Lee” McGehee, 68, died May 6, 2010, at his residence. He was born Aug. 20, 1941, the son of John H. Sr. and Evelyn Hager McGehee.

He was a Farm Bureau member for many years, formerly a director of the American Farm Bureau Federation, a former president of the Meade County Farm Bureau, a member of the Corn Growers Association, the Kentucky Cattleman’s Association, Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, and a Kentucky Colonel.
Mr. McGehee is survived by a son, Jeff (Marcella) McGehee, Brandenburg; two brothers, John H. “Jack” McGehee Jr., Brandenburg, and Robert P. “Pleas” McGehee, Mount Washington; three grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held May 10, from Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Paddack, officiating. Burial followed in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
