INEZ MOSS

Inez Moss, 82, Vine Grove, died May 14, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Radcliff. Teaching 30 years in the Hardin County School System, she began her career at Vine Grove Elementary School, moved to North Hardin High School in Radcliff and then retired after teaching at James T. Alton Middle School in Vine Grove. She was a graduate of Vine Grove High School and Western Kentucky University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Moss; a daughter, Terry Leigh Moss; a brother, Elton C. Witten; her parents, Estill and Audrey Witten; and her stepfather, Bennie Witten.
Mrs. Moss is survived by a sister, Zeta Kersey, Vine Grove; a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Lucille Witten, Cecilia; a sister-in-law, Mary Witten, Georgia; six nephews; a niece; ; five great nephews; two great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; several stepnieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held May 17, from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove, with Bro. Ron Hockman officiating. Burial was in the Vine Grove Cemetery.
