NICHOLAS M. ‘NICK’ ALLEN

Nicholas M. “Nick” Allen, 68, Brandenburg, died May 17, 2010, in Louisville. He was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Louisville, to the late Lamar Jefferson and Lorraine Mercer Allen.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brandenburg, a 1959 graduate of Meade County High School, a car salesman for over 45 years and loved playing with his dog, Lucky.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Linda Lively Allen, Brandenburg; a daughter, Sally Allen (Cletis) Evans, Louisville, a son, Steve (Jen) Allen, Arvada, Colo.; a brother, Tony (Patsy) Allen, Brandenburg; a sister, Sally Ann (Don) Crenshaw, Robards; an aunt, Ona (Leck) Craycroft, Brandenburg; three step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held May 21, from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
