SHIRLEY BENHAM

Shirley Benham, 73, Brandenburg, died May 13, 2010, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Ind.

She was a member of the Meade County Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart “Bokie” Benham; a son, Bernie Benham; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Benham is survived by three children, William H. “Willie” (Vicky) Benham, Jeffrey T. “Jeff” (Carole) Benham, both of Guston and Peggy D. (Ralph) Carwile, Brandenburg; a brother, John Coates, Stephensport; two sisters, Rose LaTondress, Guston and Marie Wardrip, Webster; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held June 6, from 2-5 p.m. at the Meade County Senior Citizens Building, 1200 Old Ekron Road in Brandenburg.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
