GEORGE E. HARRINGTON

George E. Harrington, 65, Lexington, formerly of Brandenburg, died June 1, 2010, at his residence.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

Mr. Harrington is survived by his mother, Edith M. Harrington, Brandenburg; five sisters, Judy (Wayne) Russell, Brandenburg, Paulette Shively, Henderson, Fay Etta Harrington, Shepherdsville, Rebecca (Glenn) Smith, Natchez, Miss., and Edie Jones, Radcliff; two aunts; seven nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; and a great-great-niece.

Funeral services were held June 4, from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Burial was in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, with full military honors.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bethel Methodist Church Building Fund.
