CROSBY CADE

Cheryl Christine Crosby Cade, 47, Brandenburg, died June 16, 2010. She was born Aug. 21, 1962, in Waycross, Ga., to the late Olivia Thrift Crosby and John H. Crosby.

She was a member of Rock Haven Baptist Church, participated in parent-teachers organizations at Ekron Elementary and Stuart Pepper middle schools, was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw, loved and cared for many animals and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Wesley Crosby.

Mrs. Cade is survived by her husband, Bill Cade, Brandenburg; three daughters, Jessica, Melissa and Angela Cade, all of Brandenburg; a sister, Linda Watson,Valdosta, Ga.; three brothers-in-law, David (Jana), Joe and Dan Cade; and a special niece.

Funeral services were held June 19, from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Happy Chandler officiating.
