RALPH JOHNSON

Ralph Johnson, 91, Guston, died June 14, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born Oct. 4, 1918, in Guston, to the late Harvey and Mary Phillips Johnson.

He was a veteran of World War II who served in the U.S. Army, a lifelong member of the Patteson Memorial Presbyterian Church and served as magistrate for 25 years in the Guston/Flaherty community.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Henry, David and Russell Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Joyce Kendall Johnson, Guston; a daughter, Diana Johnson (Mickey) Chism, Brandenburg; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 18, from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Julian Taggart officiating. Burial was in Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery.
