Cleo Twyford, 86, Rineyville, died July 15, 2010, at Helmwood Health Care Center in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Rineyville Baptist Church. She graduated from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in Fort Wayne, Ind., and worked for 30 years in the Fort Wayne area. She married her husband, Vernon Twyford on June 30, 1951, and they were married 58 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Kelly Fletcher and Dora Rowe Fletcher; and two brothers, Wiley Fletcher and Everett Fletcher.

Mrs. Twyford is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Bea and Raymond Croghan, Rineyville; three nieces, Debra Phillips, Vine Grove, Judy McGee, Cecilia, and Sharon Fletcher, Colt Springs; and a nephew, Mike Fletcher, Radcliff.

Funeral services were held July 19, from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove, with Bro. Wendell Smith officiating and music by Jacquie Miller. Burial was in the Rineyville Baptist Church Cemetery.
