OTIS G. DUNCAN

Otis G. Duncan, 75, Ekron, died Sept. 2, 2010, at Woodland Terrace Health Care in Elizabethtown. He was born Jan. 14, 1935 in Inman, Va., to the late Orin C. and Cora Scaff Duncan.

He was a retired staff sergeant of the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was also a retired long-haul truck driver and a member of the Hodgenville, B.R. Young Masonic Lodge # 132 F&AM and a past patron of the Irvington Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by three wives, Francis Prather Brown Duncan, Helen Landrum Duncan and Ellen Muller Duncan-Mack; and two brothers, George and Karl Duncan.

Mr. Duncan is survived by a daughter, Marikka (Matthew Weathers) Duncan, Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Michael (Laura) Duncan, Granville, Ohio; four stepchildren, Donny and Billy Landrum, Sheri Crothers and Frieda Proctor; two sisters, Alice Fore and Malvie (Edward) Osborne; three brothers, O.C. (Connie) Duncan, LeRoy (Evla) Duncan and Billy Jo (Nellie) Duncan; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

The family chose cremation.

A memorial service was held Sept. 7, from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Inurnment was at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
