ECKIE LEE JONES

Eckie Lee Jones, 55, Guston, died Oct. 16, 2010, at his residence. He was born Nov. 1, 1954, to the late James Russell and Julia Beatrice Harper Jones.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven Neil Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Wanda Marlene Jones, Guston; a daughter, Christin Jones, Guston; a sister, Caroline Shaffer; a step-sister, Mary Joe (Jesse) Troutman; two brothers, Rickie (Belinda) Jones and Bobby Joe Jones; three stepchildren, Shannon Buell, Rineyville, Doug Miller, Irvington, and Bart Miller, Ekron, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. EDT Oct. 22, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EDT. Burial will follow in Garfield Cemetery in Garfield.
