TONY FARRIS

Tony Farris, 42, of the Rock Haven Community in Meade County, died Nov. 5, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a former volunteer firefighter with the South Dixie Fire Department and past member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin, and his brother, Lennie.

Mr. Farris is survived by his loving wife, Donna Warren Farris; four children, Daniel, Kristina, Brianna and Anthony; mother, Zelma Geary Farris; two sisters, Becky (Richard) Cotton and Candy (Cecil) Carrington; a nephew; three nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life was held Nov. 9, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Burial was in Rock Haven Cemetery.
