EDWARD LOUIS
‘BODGE’ ROBINSON
Edward Louis “Bodge” Robinson, 74, Battletown, died Nov. 11, 2010, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, an avid outdoorsman and loved horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Louis Robinson and Edna Marie Konkle Skirvin; a brother, Walter H. Robinson; a sister, Imogene Skirvin Bliton; and two half-brothers, Tom and Buck Skirvin.
Mr. Robinson is survived by five children, Marsha Lynn Foley, Mark Edward Robinson, Lisa Jean Redwine, Andy Robinson, all of Madison, Ind.; and Edward Louis Robinson Jr., Cross Plains, Ind., his former wife and companion, Millie Konkle, Battletown; three stepchildren, Ron Konkle, Cross Plains, Ind., LeAnn Biddle, Brandenburg, and Sue Pike, Payneville; four brothers, Joe Lee Robinson and Mike Robinson, both of Butlerville, Ind., Fred Robinson, North Vernon, Ind., and George T. Robinson, French Lick, Ind.; six sisters, Carolyn Speer and Nancy Juengst, both of North Vernon, Ind., Mary Hunt, Joyce Buchanan and Joy Lee, all of Versailles, Ind. and Barbara Ryker, Cross Plains, Ind.; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Nov. 13, at the Salem Christian Church Cemetery in Cross Plains, Ind. Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, was entrusted with arrangements.
