SPEEDY SMITH CLEMENTS

Speedy Smith Clements, 81, English, Ind., died Nov. 7, 2010. He was born in Meade County to the late Foster Clements and Mabel Clements Kozak.

Speedy drove big trucks all his life and had just recently retired. The VFW Post 6160 of which Speedy was a lifetime member honored him with a 19-gun salute.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Clements, and a sister, Martha Ogden.
Mr. Clements is survived by his wife, Donna Clements; a sister, Maggie Ralls, Villa Rica, Ga.; three nephews and four nieces.

Funeral services were held from the chapel of Denbo Funeral Home in English, Ind. The Rev. John Bye officiated. A eulogy was given by Pat Wedding. Burial was in Matthews Cemetery in English.
Bill, Mike and Pat Wedding were pallbearers.
