MARY ANNE PACE
Mary Anne Pace, 79, Brandenburg, died Nov. 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Brandenburg, to the late Ned and Nelle Heavrin Brown.
Besides being a devoted mother and grandmother, lovingly known as “Mammy” to many, she was a member of St. John the Apostle Church and a founding member of Hillcrest Country Club, where she was an avid golfer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, Ellet Wayne Pace; a brother, Edward Brown; and three sisters, Audrey Dugan, Patsy Foushee and Susan Kinney.
Mrs. Pace is survived by a daughter, Edie (George) Harper; a son, David (Sharon) Pace, both of Brandenburg; two brothers, Garland Brown and Tony (Amanda) Brown, both of Brandenburg; a sister-in-law, Mary Gibson Brown; a brother-in-law, Frank Kinney; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Funeral services were held Nov. 23, from St. John the Apostle Church. Burial was in St. George Cemetery.
