PHILLIP GORDON PINSON

Phillip Gordon Pinson, 74, Vine Grove, died Nov. 16, 2010, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was retired from the United States Air Force and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. His memberships included: D.A.V., V.F.W., American Legion, Sergeants Association, Air Force Association and he also was a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Geter and Cora Pinson; a brother, Lynn Pinson, and two sisters, Linda Pinson and Valerie Bailey.

Mr. Pinson is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Pinson, Vine Grove; a son, Phillip (Geri) Pinson Jr., West Mansfield, Ohio; a daughter, Kathy (Glen) Justis, Vine Grove; a grandson; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Nov. 20, from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove, with Evangelist Jim Smith officiating. Burial was in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, with military honors.
