JUDITH TERESA POPPERT

Judith Teresa Poppert, 46, Vine Grove, died Nov. 16, 2010, surrounded by her family at her residence, after a 13-year courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Dixon Smith Sr.

Mrs. Poppert is survived by her husband of 27 years, CSM Adrien Poppert, Vine Grove; a daughter, Adrianne Sheppard, Fort Knox; a son, Caleb Poppert and his fiancée, Jaeleen Concepcion, Vine Grove; her mother, Linda Kight, Blythe, Ga; two brothers, Donald Smith Jr., Stacy Smith both of Augusta, Ga; two sisters, Susanne McLaughlin, Augusta, Ga., Tara Johnson, Smyrna, Ga.; three grandchildren; her grandmother, Margaret B. Joyner (Granny) Millen, Ga.; and a host of relatives and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at Blythe United Methodist Church in Blythe, Ga.

There will be a memorial service at a later date for her friends and family of the Fort Knox area.
