JANE ELIZABETH VESSELS

Jane Elizabeth Vessels, 79, Payneville, died Nov. 24, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 21, 1931, to the late John D. and Cora Ann French McMillen.

She was a member of St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia,and was an avid artist.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Vessels is survived by her husband, Joseph Eugene Vessels; two daughters, Janice M. (Chris) Whelan, Flaherty and Regina Bennett, Brandenburg; a son, Thomas J. (Kathy) Vessels, Rhodelia; a brother, John (Norma) McMillen, Louisville; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 29 at St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg.

Pallbearers were: Angie Deibler, Jennifer Bennett, Bethany Whelan, Kimberly Phillips, Ange Vessels, Brittney Vessels Shannon Vessels and Erika Whelan.
