GENE R. ‘PETE’ COLE

Gene “Pete” R. Cole, 76, died Nov. 22, 2010, at Veterans Medical Center in the presence of his family.

He was a retired construction foreman, an Army veteran and a member of the Brandenburg Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn (Beeler) Cole; and two brothers, Ross and Hugh Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Wanda; a son, Jeff (April) Cole; a brother, Bill (Beverly) Cole; five sisters, Nina (Richard) Lawson, Marjorie Thompson, Jane Chism, Pat (Hayward) Hockman and Judy (Jerry) Cole; and three grandchildren.

Services were private.

Arrangements were handled by Newcomer Funeral Home in Louisville.
