CAROLYN S. RHOADS

Carolyn S. Rhoads, 73, Corydon, Ind., died Nov. 26, 2010, near Salem, Ind. She was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Corydon, to the late Charles and Elsie Gutkese Stepro.

She was retired from Brown-Forman in Louisville and was a member of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Stepro Jr.

Ms. Rhoads is survived by two sons, Kalin W. Rhoads and Leland L. Rhoads, Corydon; a brother, James Stepro, Corydon; two sisters, Monnie Flickner, Corydon, and Barbara Owen, Cody, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 4, from the chapel of the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. The Rev. James Wolfe and the Rev. David Ledger will officiate.

Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Corydon.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3 and after 9 a.m. Dec. 4.

Pallbearers will be Kendall Cotner, Chris Williams, Leland Rhoads Jr., Christopher Rhoads, Mike Wolfe and Andy Smith.
