ALBERT ‘AL’ STORY POTTS

Albert “Al” Story Potts, 73, Vine Grove, died Dec. 4, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was retired from the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy Potts Sr., and a wife, Charlotte.

Mr. Potts is survived by his wife, Sallie Potts, Vine Grove; a son, Ross Albert (Cheryl) Potts, Fredericksburg, Va.,; a daughter, Pendence Virginia Williams, New Cambria, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Samantha (Bill) Brick, Dothan, Ala.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 8, from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove, with the Rev. Ron Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, with military honors.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Dec. 7 and after 10 a.m. Dec. 8.
