MARTHA NEWTON

Martha Newton, 87, died Dec. 3, 2010, at Medco Center in Hardinsburg. She was born May 2, 1923, in Breckinridge County, to the late Alzo and Mary Stinnett Milam.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Newton; and two sisters, Anna Louis Carman and Mary Lee Ross.

Mrs. Newton is survived by a sister: Tula Dowell, McDaniels; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services were held Dec. 6, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
