MARGARET ‘LOU’ CLARKSON

Margaret “Lou” Clarkson, 67, Ekron, died Dec. 14, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Banks Clarkson, and a brother, William Dean Clarkson.

Mrs. Clarkson is survived by her father, Sherman Clarkson, Ekron; four children, Lisa Williams, Owings Mills, Md., Tammy Payne, Cape Girardeau, Mo., Jimmy “Jimbo” Clarkson, Tacoma, Wash., and Penny Perkins, Louisville; two brothers, Willie “Jim” (Gail) Clarkson, Louisville, and Billy “Lock” Clarkson, Ekron; two sisters, Martha (Earl) Hardy, Hyattsville, Md., and Sara (Mike) Young, Louisville; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Dec. 23, at Zion Grove Baptist Church in Ekron. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends and family may call at the church from noon until the time of service Dec. 23. There will also be a memorial service held from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 22, at the Highland Park Missionary Baptist Church, 3700 Shanks Lane in Louisville. The church is located off of Cane Run Road in Louisville.

Arrangements are being handled by Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg.
