NATALIA JANE TABOR MITCHAM
Natalia Jane Tabor Mitcham, 72, Brandenburg, died Dec. 17, 2010, at Medco Center. She was born in Garfield, on Feb. 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Estell and Katherine Bryant Tabor.
She was the former owner and operator of Kirk Inn and Green Valley Restaurants, bookkeeper for Mitcham Petroleum, member of Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved spending time with her family, gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond “Tink” Alexander and James Mitcham; a son, Estell Ray Alexander; and a brother, Billy Tabor.
Mrs. Mitcham is survived by four children, Kathy Dowell, Brandenburg, Mike Mitcham, Webster, and Jeremy and Bryan Mitcham, Irvington; eight brothers and sisters, Joe, David and Norma Tabor, Peggy Smiley and Jacquie Lucas, Garfield, Mark and John Tabor, Lawrenceburg, Ga., and George Tabor, Bowling Green; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 22, at 1 p.m. at Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with the
Rev. Frank McCallum officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington.
Friends and family may call at the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Dec. 21, from 5-8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Dec. 22.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Natalia Mitcham Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
