CARMAN ‘DICK’ PETERS

Carman ”Dick” Peters, 94, Vine Grove, died Dec. 16, 2010, at his home.

He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Peters; his parents, Andy and Lucy Peters; stepmother, Sudie Peters; six brothers, Elza Peters, Virgil Peters, Wesley Peters, Tommy Peters, Lawrence Peters, and Fount Peters; a sister, Bessie Hunt; his son-in-law, Larry Wilson; and a great-granddaughter, Brittney Louann Walters.

Mr. Peters is survived by a son, Richard (Charlotte) Peters, Vine Grove; two daughters, Shirley (Lester Gene) Fulk, Radcliff, and Mildred Wilson, Parkersburg, W.V.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec. 20, from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove, with the Rev. Elbert Peters officiating. Burial was in Vine Grove Cemetery in Vine Grove.
