Expressing appreciation

Submitted photo
In recognition of the endless and tireless efforts of our local police, fire and EMT departments, Cash Express provided treats to these departments on Sept. 11 – Patriots Day – as a token of the community’s and Cash Express’ appreciation. “The members of these departments serve our community unselfishly and put their lives on the line daily for each of us,” read a statement from Cash Express. “We encourage everyone in our community to take a moment and say thanks to our dedicated local police, fire and EMTs. Pizzas were donated by Mr. Gatti’s, McDonald’s donated fresh-baked cookies, and Pat’s Florist donated the red, white and blue balloons. Cash Express purchased the cakes which were decorated by Kroger. “Everyone was surprised and pleased,” said Rita Hockman of the Brandenburg Check Express.
