Greenwaves conquer Bruins 24-7

Meade County (1-3) returned home Sept. 14, defeating Central Hardin (2-2) for their first win of the season. The Bruins were averaging 30 points a game coming into Death Valley, but the Greenwave defense allowed only 7 while the offense took care of business and racked up 24 points. While Meade County has had trouble holding onto the ball in previous games this season, the team turned it over only once with a fumble late in the 3rd quarter. This good ball handling allowed the offense to remain on the field over 31 minutes and net 395 yards.
