Muldraughpolis holds first Job Fair

The first annual Muldraughpolis Job Fair was held Sept. 25-27 at Muldraugh Elementary School. During the three-day event students in grades 3-6 interviewed for jobs they will hold the remainder of the school year.

Tidal Wave Bank opens branch at Freshman Academy

The Tidal Wave Bank of Meade County High School became one-of-a-kind in Kentucky Sept. 17 when it opened the first fully functional branch of a student financial center in Kentucky. The branch office was built in the James R. Allen Freshman Academy by its sponsors Meade County Bank. The branch office was built in a corner of the library with two teller windows opening onto the corridor leading to the Freshman Academy cafeteria.

Walking proud at the Bulldog Strut

On Sept. 28, David T. Wilson Elementary School held its 10th annual Bulldog Strut, a walk-a-thon to raise funds for the school and get the kids out of the building to have some fun and get some exercise.

Tailgating at Payneville Elementary

Approximately 50 students at Payneville Elementary enjoyed a tailgate party Sept. 28, in recognition of the students’ participation in the Accelerated Reader Read-A- Thon.
