ASHLEY SCHAFFNER
Ashley Schaffner has joined Guthrie/Mayes Public Relations, Louisville, as assistant account manager. She previously worked for the firm as an intern last summer. Schaffner graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia in May.
KOPS recognition party
On July 9, TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) KY #297 held a party in honor of the chapter’s four KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
Creating fall decorations
Five members of the Garrett Homemaker club, Artie Howell, Jane Warford, Mary Ann (D) Lancaster, Mary Ann (R) Lancaster and Pat Ditto recently met with nine residents of the Medco Center, Brandenburg.

The Central Kentucky Artist Guild named members lucia beeler and Patrick Judge Artists of the Month at the September meeting. Judge’s oil painting is called “Old Fisherman,” and beeler’s photograph is called “Whispers.”
